Let Me Tell Ya 'Bout My Best Friend!

So this blog post is a little over due....

I should have told you about my best friend a long time ago!!

But she just got back from a trip to Africa so no better time to highlight her!!!

My best friend MISSY!!!...aka. Melinda Patterson!

Melinda got to go on a medical mission trip to Africa and brought this awesome wood carving back to me and Adam! It was so cute! You can't see it but it has both of our names on it and our wedding date! We both loved it!

Melinda and i have been good friends since little league softball but became BEST FRIENDS in high school. She was always someone I could depend on to have a good time and was always there for me! She even almost got in a fist fight for my little twirpy self our senior year! Yes, I have a great friend here!

I am so lucky to have her as my friend.

Sips and Strokes

For my little "bachelorette" outing my sister planned for us to go to Sips and Strokes. I had never been before and was very excited about it. A lot of my friends already had plans for the evening so 4 of us : Krista, Danielle, Kenzie and myself got to enjoy the fun. We ended up having a great time and were all pleased with our paintings. Thanks for a fun night Krista!

There is nothing better than heading to the Tennessee River on a hot summer day! It is definitely one of my families favorite things to do. This year Jake is big enough to ride the Jet Ski and tube so he is enjoying it also!

Disney World

I have been wanting to go to Disney World for awhile now because I don't really remember going before and the Reynoldson family made that possible for me this past week! I was so excited to go with some of my favorite people! We loaded up last week and headed off towards Nashville to catch our flight....only problem was....I forgot my wallet and ID in Camden.... :) Hello Mom!!! I ended up having to call Mom two hours before our flight took off and have her speed to Nashville with it. I ended up going through "intense" security right before she got there because I was afraid I would miss the plane. Security had to call Washington to clear me and I had to be patted down. Mom ended up getting to curb side drop off 5 minutes before my plane boarded and the wallet was thrown security! I ran to my gate and barely made it on time....Not the way to start the trip! Lets just say I was very glad to make it to Florida!! Overall, we had an amazing time at Disney!! It was defenitely won of the best weeks I have had! Thanks Reynoldson family!

Life lateley

So, I have really been slacking when it comes to updating my blog. I have been so busy with finishing up school work and am just getting to it. Thanks to Kenzie for calling me out on it. But some pretty good things have been happening in my life. First off....

I AM NOW A COLLEGE GRADUATE!

I don't think I have ever been so glad to be done with something. Nursing school has been one of the most stressful things I have ever done but I am glad I did it. I met some incredible people while at FHU and in nursing.

Now that I have graduated I am in the waiting process to take my NCLEX. You have to wait for your application to get sent off and get "Authorization to Test". Hopefully I will be able to take then test at the end of June and begin work right after.

Well, its the time of the year for the annual basketball banquet. It has been a fun year! I am sad it is my last year to be apart of such a fun and good program. The banquet is always fun because you get to dress up and spend the evening with all of your friends! I will miss this!
